Reaction: manager Dave Ricardo's thoughts on the disappointing defeat to Horbury Town

'The lads weren't at the races on Saturday, which for me was the first time this season. So we need to use it as a warning moving forward, especially with a tough game on Tuesday at home to Brigg.

We warned our guys prior to the game that it wasn't going to be easy and we would be in for a fight. However, at times I think we didn't play well enough without the ball to make it hard for them.

I actually thought we created some clear openings throughout the game, they've cleared off the line 4 times. But that shouldn't minimise the lack of clarity we showed defensively both at the back and in the middle of the park.

We need a reaction come Tuesday and I trust the boys to do that.'
