Beverley Town FC relaunches East Yorkshire Food Bank Drop-Off Point at Every Home Fixture

Beverley Town FC is proud to announce that, starting Tuesday, we will be providing an official East Yorkshire Food Bank drop-off point at every home fixture this season. This initiative reflects our deep-rooted commitment to supporting our local community and making a real difference where it matters most.

The East Yorkshire Food Bank does vital work across the region, providing emergency food parcels and support to individuals and families who are facing crisis. In these increasingly challenging times, food poverty continues to affect too many households. The food bank helps to bridge the gap by offering not only essential food supplies but also a compassionate hand to those in need. Every donation can help someone in East Yorkshire get through an incredibly difficult time.

How You Can Help

From Tuesday, fans attending home games at Norwood will be able to bring donations to our clearly marked collection point by the clubhouse. We’re encouraging supporters to bring along a few items from the food bank’s most-needed list, including:

* Tinned meat and fish

* Long-life milk and fruit juice

* Tinned vegetables and fruit

* Pasta and rice

* Breakfast cereals

* Tea, coffee, and sugar

* Toiletries such as soap, shampoo, and toothpaste

Please ensure all items are unopened and within their use-by date.

A Community That Cares

The Beverley community has always stepped up when it counts, and we have seen first hand just how generous and compassionate our supporters can be. Past donation drives have shown the true heart of our fanbase. Your contributions have helped stock shelves, fill bellies, and lift spirits. The partnership with East Yorkshire Food Bank continues to build on that legacy, and we know that together, we can once again rise to the occasion.

Manager’s Statement

First team manager, David Ricardo, said:
“Beverley Town has always been more than just a football club — we’re a community club. By supporting the East Yorkshire Food Bank at every home game, we’re offering our fans a simple but powerful way to give back. Whether it’s one item or a full bag, every donation matters. Let’s show what Beverley is made of.”

We’re calling on all supporters to bring their generosity to the gate and help us make every matchday count — not just on the pitch, but in the lives of those who need it most.

Up the Beavers! Up the community!
