The Beavers progressed through to the 3rd Round of the League Cup after what turned out in the end to be a comfortable win away at Division 1 outfit Louth Town.
The first half went perfectly for us, with an early goal from McCauley Snelgrove and a quick fire brace from Jacob Hill in the 34th and 39th minutes, which saw us go into half time in the commanding position of 3-0 up.
Louth got right back in it in the 2nd half and were just 3-2 behind after 65 minutes. But we regained control with 76 minutes gone when Eddy Birch restored a 2 goal lead for us. Then Eddy Birch again in the 83rd minute and Cam Connelly scoring our 6th on 90 minutes meant we finished the tie comfortable winners 6-2, and the Cup run continues.
3 matches unbeaten now for The Beavers, we're starting to get on a roll. Next up, Winterton Rangers at home on Saturday in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Vase.
