A great afternoon for The Beavers down at Norwood with an outstanding 4-0 win against the team who were a couple of places above us in the league, Thackley.
The game was effectively all over and the 3 points secured by half time as The Beavers raced into a 3-0 lead after 30 minutes, with goals from Cam Connelly in the first minute, Glen Sani after 25 minutes and Alex Markham 5 minutes later.
A solid team performance in the second half, capped nicely by Glen Sani getting his brace late on in the 84th minute, resulted in a very convincing win against one of our rivals at the top of the Premier Division.
It also saw us leapfrog Thackley in the table, moving us up to 5th, our highest position of the season so far.
And an excellent crowd of 382 down at Norwood this afternoon - thank you for your incredible support.
