The Beavers made it 7 wins in the last 8 league matches with a 4-2 victory against Tadcaster Albion at a blustery Norwood, to climb up to 3rd in the table.
It wasn't the prettiest of performances from The Beavers in the face of some tough weather conditions from Storm Bert, but a couple of goals in either half secured another valuable 3 points.
Cam Connelly got us in front after 17 minutes, with McCauley Snelgrove adding our second right on half time, after Tadcaster had equalised ten minutes earlier. 2-1 at the break.
Skipper James Piercy, putting in a man of the match performance, gave us a 2 goal cushion in the 52nd minute. But Tadcaster came back at us again, making it 3-2 from the penalty spot just 6 minutes later.
Finally, McCauley Snelgrove was able to calm everyone's nerves by bagging his brace and The Beavers' 4th of the game ten minutes from time to secure another win, our 5th on the bounce.
Two more home games coming up. On Tuesday evening we take a break from league action when we face Pickering Town at Norwood in the 3rd Round of the League Cup, kick off 7.45 as usual.
And then on Saturday we have a big local derby when we welcome Barton Town to Norwood for our next league match, kick off 3pm.
