A whirlwind of a first half from The Beavers saw the game well and truly won and all 3 points in the bag by half time.
In yet another high scoring game against Eccleshill United, after the 11 goal thriller at their place earlier in the season, we found the net 5 times in the first 45 minutes. Glen Sani got us underway after just 9 minutes, with McCauley Snelgrove doubling our lead 4 minutes later.
Eccleshill pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 18th minute, but goals from Luka Suluburic, an own goal and a second from Macca took the game away from our opponents.
The second half was a more subdued affair, with Eccleshill the only scorers, another penalty, to make the final score 5-2.
A very decent performance from the lads, and another valuable 3 points to consolidate our 4th place in the league.
Next up is a huge top of the table clash away at Golcar United on Saturday.
