New signing: welcome to the Club Cameron Connelly

Summer signing number 4 is through the door, as The Beavers sign Cameron Connelly, who was previously with Bridlington Town!

Gaffer Dave Ricardo said: “Cam is another young talent in the area that we have brought in to help the club kick on and be a force moving forward. Although young of years he is a physical specimen and will work opposing defenders extremely hard over the next couple of months. I’ve particularly enjoyed watching Cam and Skipper James Piercy on more than one occasion having a good match up during training!

The Beverley fans will remember Cam from a couple of seasons ago, especially an away game at Glasshoughton, where he notched a brace. Cam has overcome some physical niggles and is fully fit. The coaching team have been really pleased with his progress even over the last few weeks and can see him being a fans' favourite throughout the season. I’m sure the Beaver army will give Cam and his family a warm welcome at the first opportunity.”
