What an end to a thrilling first season in the NCEL Premier Division, as The Beavers lifted the NCEL League Cup trophy with a 3-2 win over Knaresborough Town.
We got off to an excellent start, going 1-0 up after just 10 minutes through Glen Sani. Further goals from Macca Snelgrove and Cam Connelly put us in a commanding position at the half time break, 3-1 up.
It became a bit close for comfort when Knaresborough pulled another back after 63 minutes, but the lads held out for a magnificent and truly famous victory that sees your Club create yet more history and go from strength to strength.
