Our first home game of the Premier Division season ended in tough fashion with a 4-0 defeat to Handsworth, who bagged a couple of goals in either half.
Handsworth raced into a 2-0 lead after just 14 minutes, and although both McCauley Snelgrove and Danny Earl had good chances towards the end of the half, the ball just wouldn't go in the net for us.
Both sides created more chances to add to the score in the second half, but it was Handsworth who finally did after 67 and 90 minutes.
A huge thank you to the excellent crowd who supported The Beavers all the way on the night.
Next up we have a break from Premier Division action when we take on Dronfield Town (away) on Saturday in the 1st Qualifying Round of the FA Vase.
