Bev Town got back to winning ways with an excellent, hard fought win at home against Nostell Miners Welfare in difficult, very blustery conditions at Norwood.
Scott Phillips put us 1-0 up in the first half, and that's the way it stayed until late on when goals from Josh Batty and Joe McFadyen (his 30th of the season!) put the game beyond doubt. A late goal from Nostell was nothing more than a consolation.
We stay 3rd in the table, but breathing down the necks of Shirebrook and Wakefield in the top 2 places.
Next up, in our last home game of the season, is the big one against promotion rivals Parkgate. We drew at their place just a couple of weeks ago, so we're looking to go one better on Tuesday and grab all 3 points.
