Bev Town got back to winning ways after the disappointment of Saturday, beating Glasshoughton Welfare 4-2 for the second time in the space of a couple of weeks.
There was an early scare when Glasshoughton took the lead after just 3 minutes, but the Beavers didn't let that dishearten them, levelling just 11 minutes later and then taking control of the half. A goal on 42 minutes by Joe McFadyen ensured a 2-1 lead at the break.
The game quickly became comfortable after the restart with goals in the 49th and 55th minutes from Josh Batty and Joe McFadyen again putting us 4-1 ahead. A late goal from Glasshoughton in the 90th minute made the final score 4-2, giving us an excellent win to put us back at the top of the table.
